Powered by the Fortis diamond-on-diamond pulser, Locus withstands abrasive sands, high-solids mud, and LCM without jamming. Rated to 175°C and delivering fast, high-density data, Locus provides precision directional accuracy when failure is not an option.

Description

  • Fully Integrated Architecture: Designed entirely in-house, Locus combines hardware, firmware, and software into a unified system that eliminates the failure points common in third-party “kit” tools.
  • Fortis Diamond Valve Technology: The Fortis Pulser utilizes a diamond-on-diamond valve design and four-port flow architecture to withstand abrasive solids and prevent valve failures in harsh drilling environments.
  • High-Speed High-Temperature Performance: Engineered for extreme applications with data transmission speeds up to 2.66 bits/sec and validated operation at temperatures up to 175°C (347°F). 
  • Full Envelope Shock & Vibration Protection: Built to survive punishing downhole conditions with isolation rated to 1,000g shock and tested to 25g RMS vibration resistance.
  • Modular Directional Integration: Seamlessly integrates with RSS platforms, PWD systems, and Azimuthal Gamma tools while delivering precision directional accuracy for critical well placement.
