Slick-HT™ is Rime’s ultra-high-temperature rotary shear valve servo pulser engineered for reliable telemetry performance in the harshest downhole environments. Designed to operate in temperatures up to 200°C, Slick-HT combines advanced pulse generation technology with ruggedized internal architecture to maintain signal clarity, reduce pressure loss, and withstand the destructive effects of heat, solids, vibration, and fluid invasion.

Built around a high-performance rotary shear servo valve, Slick-HT delivers sharper, cleaner pulse generation while maintaining exceptional reliability in high-solids and high-LCM drilling conditions. The system’s wiping and cutting valve action helps prevent debris buildup and flow restriction, while the high-torque magnetic coupling reduces frictional losses and isolates critical electronics from corrosion, erosion, and fluid ingress. Whether configured in dual-port or quad-port architecture, Slick-HT is designed to extend tool life, improve telemetry consistency, and lower overall operating costs in extreme drilling applications.
